How can i reduce the noise from the motor ?

Hello all...i wonder if you can tell me how to reduce the noise from my motor while the car is running...i have 5 speed on my GTL R1397 ..so i wonder if there is a way to reduce the noise of the motor...i know it's not like modern cars were you don't hear any noise from the motor at all..but maybe there is a way to reduce it? is it normal to have a high noise motor? any suggestions? thanks

J'ai 5 vitesses sur ma GTL 1397 ... alors je me demande s'il y a une façon de reduire le bruit du moteur... Je sais ce n'est pas une voiture moderne sur lesquelles ont entend pas le moteur du tout. Mais peut être qu'il y a une façon de le reduire?
Es-ce que c'est normal d'avoir un bruit aussi elevé? des suggestions? Merci

Magedam check your exhaust pipe, if it's ok without hole, i think you could do nothing.

Before you leave the key in your pocket ans just watch the car.

Thy to increase sound-proofing by put some special foam against stain sheets between engine and cockpit.

And also you can glue some into the hood.

Thank you Cederic ..i 'll try to do this proof and see...also i'll check the exhaust for any holes like Coilb said...i think emmanuel's solution is the best but only if i don't wanna use the car! lol....thank you all for your support...
