| Bonjour de Groningen, Pays-Bas. Je suis Klaas van Niejenhuis et je ne parlez pas Français.
Those are nearly the only words I can speak in French.
My girlfriend en myself have planned a holiday in France next 2 weeks and therefore I do have got a question about a R5 I want to buy. It's a TS from 1985 and goodlooking beige. But there is one problem I had, while I was test-driving. Around 80 km/h it started to 'shaking' and it didn't matter if it was in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th gear. There was just a little bit of fuel left and the R5 had been standing around for 2 months. The seller went to a gararge and they have been driving 110 km/h. Now the seller said that it was rubish in the fuel.
Is there anything known by the experts here, that can explain this strange thing? |

Ce sont les seuls mots que je peux dire en Français.
Mon amie et moi avons prevoyons un voyange en France dans 15 jours, mais avant j'ai une question a propos d'une r5 que j'aimerais acheter.
C'st une TS de 1985 Beige en bon état. Mais il y a eu un probleme quand je l'ai essayé. Autour de 80km/h, elle a commencé a trembler, et ca ne change rien que ce soit en 2nd, 3ème, 4ème, 5ème.
Il y avait seumement un fond de carburant et la voiture était stopée depuis 2 mois.
Le vendeur est allé au garage, et ils ont conduit à 110k/h.
Maintenant le vendeur dit que c'etait des saletés dans le reservoir.
Il-y a quelq'un qui pourrait m'aider et m'expliquer cet étrange phénomène? |

| Les dépots on dû obstruer par moment l'arivée d'éssence ce qui provoque des a coups .
Si la voiture ne tourne pas l'essence se dégrade et des dépots se forment lorsque l'on redémarre et repar l'essence est agitée dans le réservoir et tout ça est aspiré surtout si il reste juste un fond de carburant.
Il faudrait démonter et netoyer le filtre à carburant(si il y en a un sur les Ts) et vidanger et rincer le réservoir.

What I understand from what Delpi said is that I've got to clean the filter (if there is one) of the carburetter. But still I think it's strange that it's only at 80 km/h.
Anyway: the seller says the same. I've got no idea how I can clean the carburetter, but I'll ask someone overhere where I live (because of my French). In a couple hours I'll probably the proud owner of a R5!
Does anyone know nice places in France? I think there are lots of them, but I mean places that are fun to drive trough. |

You can any garage to get the carburator clean.
Nice place in France?
Hard to say... France is a very rich landscape country.. |

What kind of problems? The tyres looks good enough.
Talking about the tires: they are very small. I've been searching and it looks like they from a Renault Clio (size). Is that normal?

| Just a week back from my holiday in Belgium, Luxembourg and of course France. We've been to Paris as well! We had a great time and we were supriced by all the R5's we saw in France. Good to see.
Unfortunatly it will not start anymore. I'll clean the filter of the carbureter first and then look further. I'll keep you posted! |
